A WAR WITH NO NAME
The fight by a civilization who wants to live against a civilization who wants to die.

It has been 26 days since a
group of Muslims murdered and maimed 6000+ innocent people in the name of Islam on United
States soil. The vast majority of their victims were Christians and Jews who were natives
of 80 countries throughout the world.
As the search for bodies in
a New York landfill continues we in America have come to live with the harsh truth: There
but for the grace of God, go we.
There are those who would
intellectualize (not approve) the events of September 11, 2001. These behaviorists and
terror experts speak of the whys and the wherefores of the brainwashed fanatics who
carried out the murders. They discuss the contents of the killer's last wills and
testaments and they examine their last hours on Earth.
However, intellectualization
is nothing more than a defense mechanism against the terrible truth. There are thousands
of talented, educated, fathers, mothers, children, sons, daughters, husbands, wives, aunts
and uncles who disappeared in a blink of an eye, who lie dead and buried in unlikely
graves in Manhattan, NY, and Washington, DC.
Were it possible to avenge
their deaths, I would stand in line to pull the trigger and I would feel no remorse in
doing so. However, the loss is too great and the enemy is too large for one person
to avenge. Therefore, I am placing my trust and confidence in the combined, allied,
military strength who are acting to ensure the safety of innocent people throughout the
world.
If I could name the war
against the Muslims who took the lives of the innocent I would name it the War for
Survival of Civilization. Because, in the final analysis, the perpetuation of
civilization is what we are fighting for.
The hurricane force wind of
war that America and the rest of the civilized world are steering into can be summed up in
this way: Christians, Jews, and most world-wide religious faiths value life and the living
and are willing to fight for it. Conversely, the enemy, that group of fanatic Muslims who
deal death and destruction, derive their resolve through death and dying and are willing
to fight for it. No greater contrast in human kind, reason, and spirit can be found
than in these opposing forces.
Of late, much has been done
to educate television viewers about the Muslim religion. Education may help Americans cope
with their overwhelming loss, however, let's not lose sight of the real facts, i.e.,
Muslims around the world are being brainwashed to hate America and it's citizens. If we
fail to acknowledge and understand this reality, we will avoid taking the inevitable
actions and precautions necessary to protect our country and it's people from further
death and destruction at the hands of the invisible, deadly, determined, enemy.
Therefore, let's call this
war against terrorism what it really is: A war with no name against an enemy with a desire
to die.
Nothing in human history has
ever been as dangerous to the cause of human life and liberty as is the network of suicide
prone terrorist who have taken root and perpetuated their terror around the world.
And there is nothing more important than to wage a continuing and justified, no-name, war
against it. |
