In The Name of Allah, Please Bend Over And Kiss Your Devilish, Demonic, A$$ah Goodbye.
Thank You Very Much!

Zacarias Moussaoui, a 33-year-old French national of Moroccan descent, yesterday at his arraignment on six counts of conspiracy to commit terrorism, asked permission through his attorneys to address U.S. District Judge Leonie M. Brinkema. (Moussaoui indictment)

Sneering at our system of justice, Moussaoui walked to the lectern and said defiantly in English: "In the name of Allah, I do not have anything to plead, and I enter no plea." He ended his statement by politely telling the judge, "Thank you very much."

If found guilty of the charges against him, Moussaoui may face the death penalty. Thus, having, 'inconveniently for him', failed to achieve martyrdom by crashing a jet aircraft into an American target, he can now look forward to achieving martyrdom via the United States putting him to death. Either way, according to his way of thinking, he goes to that great terrorist camp in the sky surrounded by many wives, girlfriends, family, friends, and fellow martyrs. So what's he got to lose by sneering, being defiant, and attempting to undermine due process by refusing to enter a plea? Not a lot.

From every indication, given the media frenzy yesterday at his arraignment, Moussaoui will milk the attendant trial publicity for all it's worth, unwittingly underscoring Attorney General John Ashcroft's warning and prediction of terrorists, and their lawyers, turning America's courts into "Osama TV".

While prosecutors and defense lawyers in the case argue about venue, timing of the trial, evidence, etc., Moussaoui can watch from the sidelines secure in the knowledge that when and if the "ultimate" punishment is invoked, he will die a hero to "his" people, a role model for other young, disenfranchised, suicide-prone, Muslims.

And while the terrorist version of "Dead Man Walking" unfolds before a world-wide audience, Americans should resolve to consistently, continuously, and unanimously raise their voices in defiance of what this terrorist hood stands for. For if we do not, "Osama TV" will capture the attention of a world-wide audience, reducing everything Americans stand for, and believe in, to a faint voice amid the din and clamor of terrorist rhetoric and deadly role modeling.

UPDATE:

On Friday, April 22, 2005, the crazy creep plead guilty before U.S. District Judge Leonie M. Brinkema, and we thank him very much.

On Monday, February 6, 2006, proclaiming "I am al-Qaida," the crazy creep, Zacarias Moussaoui, was removed from a federal courtroom in Alexandria at the outset of jury selection in his terrorist conspiracy trial. As federal marshals took him away, he shouted, "This trial is a circus."

The acknowledged al-Qaida conspirator, often a volatile figure in the courtroom, got into an argument with U.S. District Judge Leonie M. Brinkema in the first minute of the proceedings, demanding "I want to be heard" and saying of his lawyers, "These people do not represent me."

On Monday, 04/03/2006, a federal jury found Moussaoui eligible for the death penalty

On Wednesday, 05/03/2006, Moussaoui was sentenced to life in prison.
